From the outside, it might look like you’re holding it all together. But inside, you might be feeling exhausted, lonely, or like you’re constantly falling behind. You could be juggling career pressure, complicated relationships, or simply feeling a deep sense of disconnect – even when you’re surrounded by people.
Maybe your mind races at 3 AM, or you find yourself losing hours to doom-scrolling on your phone just to numb the stress. You might wake up feeling unmotivated, questioning your love life, your career path, or just going through the motions of the day. You might not even remember the last time you truly felt like yourself.
This isn’t weakness. It’s a sign that the pressure of modern life is heavy, and it might be time to talk to someone who understands.
I’m a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor. My aim is to offer empathy, honesty, and a calm, confidential space where we can untangle the mess together. You don’t have to put on a brave face here.
People often use this space to:
Understand themselves and their patterns more clearly
Process feelings of loneliness or relationship anxiety
Break free from feeling “stuck” and figure out their next steps
Build healthier habits away from their screens and expectations
I work with adults (18–40) across the UK who are trying to find their path but feel overwhelmed along the way.
Some people come to counselling knowing exactly what’s wrong. Others just know that something doesn’t feel right anymore, or they feel like they are having a quarter-life crisis. Both are completely normal reasons to get support.
People I work with include:
Young adults paralyzed by big life decisions or career crossroads
People struggling with modern dating, arguing with loved ones, breakups, or feeling disconnected in their relationships
Those feeling overwhelmed by comparison culture, screen addiction, and ‘doom-scrolling’
If you look like you’re coping on the outside but feel very different on the inside, I offer a calm, confidential space to slow things down, talk things through, and make sense of what’s going on.
Whether this is your first time in counselling or you’re coming back after a break, you’re welcome here.
You don’t need to be in crisis to reach out.
If any of this feels familiar, starting a conversation could be a simple first step.
Helping you manage racing thoughts, panic attacks, the pressure to succeed, and the anxiety of the unknown.
Helping you break cycles like doom-scrolling, phone addiction, and comparing yourself to others online.
Navigating modern dating, breakups, communication issues, and finding meaningful connection.
Assisting in processing traumatic experiences and building a sense of safety and resilience
Offering a safe space to explore feelings of sadness, isolation, and a lack of motivation.
Managing workplace burnout, career dissatisfaction, and figuring out your next move.
Guiding you through challenges in personal relationships, whether it’s with a partner, family member, or friend
Providing compassionate support as you process and heal from loss or significant life changes
Helping you manage career-related pressures and find a healthier work-life balance
I know what it’s like to feel the weight of expectations and the pressure of trying to figure out your path. Alongside counselling, I’ve navigated being self-employed and managing my own businesses, so I deeply understand what it means to feel stretched too thin, burnt out, and pressured to ‘keep up appearances’ while quietly struggling. That experience helps me connect with clients who feel like they are constantly juggling too much.
Outside of counselling, you’ll often find me fly fishing on the rivers and lakes of North Yorkshire or planning my next holiday away! For me, those moments are about slowing down, unplugging from the digital world, and taking stock and helping you find that same sense of clarity and calm is what I bring into my work with clients.
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework. I’m fully insured, have an enhanced DBS, and offer online counselling to clients anywhere in the UK.
If you’re ready to feel clearer, calmer, and more in control of your life and relationships, I’d be glad to work with you.
All you have to do is send me an email or a text and then we can work out the next steps forwards…
Counselling sessions provide a safe and confidential space for you to express your thoughts and emotions. I will work collaboratively to identify your goals, explore challenges, and develop strategies to overcome them. Sessions may involve discussions, reflections and the use of therapeutic techniques tailored to your specific needs.
The duration of counselling varies depending on individual circumstances. Some clients find short-term counselling helpful for specific issues, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy for more complex concerns. Often clients will ‘check in’ from time to time after as and when needed. Together, we will assess your progress regularly and determine the most appropriate duration for your counselling journey.
Ultimately the choice is up to you!
Each counselling session is 50 minutes long.
The frequency of sessions can be determined based on your needs and availability. Initially, weekly or biweekly sessions are often recommended to establish a therapeutic rapport and maintain momentum. As progress is made, sessions may become less frequent, transitioning to monthly or as-needed appointments.
My price is currently £60 per 50 minute session.

I utilise a person-centred approach at our counselling practice. The person-centred approach is rooted in the belief that individuals have the capacity for growth, self-awareness, and positive change within themselves. In our sessions, I will create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
With a person-centred approach, the focus is on YOU as the client, and I will actively listen to your concerns, values, and goals without imposing my own agenda. Together, we will work collaboratively to help you gain deeper self-understanding, develop insight into your challenges, and discover your own solutions.
This approach emphasises empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness. I will strive to understand your unique perspective, validate your experiences, and provide a space where you can feel truly heard and accepted. Together, we will foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust and mutual respect, promoting personal growth and self-empowerment.
